Manual Uninstall of Uptycs Protect on MAC

Uninstallation of Uptycs Protect on MAC:

1. First, unload the osquery daemon from the terminal by executing the commands below:
  1.       sudo launchctl unload /Library/LaunchDaemons/com.facebook.osqueryd.plist
  2.       sudo rm -rf private/var/osquery private/var/log/osquery /usr/local/bin/osquery*
  3.       sudo rm -rf /Library/LaunchAgents/com.uptycs.useragent.plist
  4.       sudo rm -rf /Library/LaunchDaemons/com.facebook.osqueryd.plist
2. Once you have completed the above steps, drag and drop Uptycs Protect into the Trash.

3. After step 2, you should receive the pop-up (see the attached screenshot below). Select the "Continue" option, and then run the command below to check if the extension has been removed:

      
  1.     systemextensionsctl list
4. Once you reboot the system, the Uptycs Protect service packages will be completely removed.
