How to obtain an API Key
Overview
An API key & secret are used to authenticate API clients to access Uptycs related resources. An API key / secret is unique to individual users. The document describes the process to obtain the same on Uptycs eco-system.
Procedure
- Login into Uptycs
- Navigate to users screen using following navigation path Configuration -> Users (under "System" section)
- Select "Edit" under your username
If an API key / secret were never generated, an user would see the following screen
- Select "CREATE" button
This results in creation of API key and Secret with following information displayed under "User API key"
- Select "DOWNLOAD" to download the API key
