New Features

Carving

Released as part of EDR feature set, this feature enables you to carve file(s) from an endpoint. URL & history of carved files (for last 3 days) are available under Investigate -> Carved Files.

Ability to carve and view the files is based on RBAC rules. After a user downloads a file, it will be deleted from the cloud immediately. Files are available to download for 24 hours only.

Event Rule Validation

With this release, Uptycs provides a useful and handy capability to validate the event rules. Using this functionality, user can validate the syntax and semantic correctness event rule scripts with an optional SQL script, before enabling the event.

Threat Sources – Enable/Disable Default Threat Source

From this release onwards, users can disable the default threat source(s). This feature enables the user to choose threat sources of their choice and relevance for the asset estate. Users can always re-enable threat sources as needed.

Improvements / Fixes

Alerts - Toggle Column Visibility

On the Alerts screen, there is now the ability to hide/show columns. The hidden columns will be saved for the user and be hidden on subsequent logins.
